Our work focuses on birds of prey and now also includes other species that share their habitats. We study their biology and the threats they face, and we develop and propose practical solutions for their conservation.
Researchers from several countries train at CECARA and go on to work in research and conservation. We publish our results in scientific journals and share them so they reach beyond academia.
Fieldwork
We survey power lines, check nests and tag birds to follow their movements. That work produces our publications and the recommendations we submit to the responsible agencies.
If you find a dead wild animal, let us know
SilentSong is our app for recording it. It works on your phone, takes two minutes and needs no signal.
